Goal
The purpose of this project is to have a set of working iPads that can be used in small groups within the classroom. The Ipads will allow the students to extend their learning through our curriculum practice with key reading and math skills. The learning outcome for all first graders is to become more fluent with math and literacy skills.
Category
Electronics - Headphones, charging cables, computer mice, etc.
What will be done with my students
The students will be using ipads in small reading and math centers to practice skills such as phonics, reading comprehension and addition and subtraction. The Ipads will allow my students to use apps that adapt their learning to support students who may need more experiences to master skills and to enrich students who need more opportunity.
Benefits to my students
My students will have more up to date access to online math and reading opportunities to support our curriculum.
Budget Narrative
I will use the grant funds to purchase up to date ipads and cases for my first grade classroom.
