Goal
The overall purpose of this project is to provide our students with disabilities the chance to earn their choice of snacks. Our students with disabilities have an Individualized Education Plan and in this plan is a Positive Behavioral Plan. The project would address those antecedent interventions, such as token economy and/or positive reinforcement, by providing the reward to each student.

What will be done with my students
The project is focused on rewarding our students with disabilities through positive reinforcement throughout their daily school day. Our students with disabilities require a focus on their safety and behavior, thus, with the edibles provided we would meet their learning needs by providing the reward of edibles. Our students would be highly motivated with the chance of having choices of snacks throughout a school day. In their Individualized Education Plan, we would focus on the antecedent interventions and the reward system based on their individualized token economies.
Benefits to my students
Our students would decrease their behavioral problems, then this would improve their academic goals. Our students would then be motivated to enter into a general education classroom and stay in there provided a positive reinforcement. I would measure these outcomes by documenting their success in a general education classroom setting.
Budget Narrative
The above list is focused on our students' with disabilities favorite choice of snacks. The grant funds will be used to purchase these items and then have the students earn these snacks through their own individualized token economies. Positive reinforcement is used daily in our classrooms and this grant fund can best support our students with disabilities by providing the motivation to exit into general education classroom settings.
