School supplies - Markers, paints, paper, crayons, clay, pencils, sharpies, modeling dough, etc.

What will be done with my students

Funds will be used to purchase:
- Sketchbooks for each student
- Watercolor and tempera paints
- Brushes and painting tools
- Oil pastels and colored pencils
- Air-dry clay and sculpting tools
- Printmaking materials
- High-quality mixed media paper

These materials will support lessons on the elements of art, cultural projects, and cross-curricular connections (e.g., integrating art with history, science, and SEL themes).

Benefits to my students

All students will complete at least 5 major projects using varied materials.
Students will demonstrate growth in technique and expression in portfolio reviews.
Artwork will be displayed in school exhibits and local student showcases.
This grant will allow my students to feel like true artists. When they’re given quality materials, they rise to the occasion—engaging deeper, taking more risks, and proudly sharing their work. This project ensures every student has what they need to thrive artistically and academically.
Thank you, Champions for Learning, for helping us build a classroom where creativity leads to confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Budget Narrative

Many of the materials will be reusable or durable enough to support multiple years of instruction. Student work will be shared during school-wide showcases and community events, helping build student pride and parent engagement.
