Goal

Our goal is to provide an enhanced performance with a portable wireless speaker with microphones for the Yulee Steppers Step Team while performing for the Yulee High School students and within the community. 

What will be done with my students

Students will have the opportunity to see a live Step Show within the community. The Yulee Steppers will be able to take our show on the road and improve our performances by adding music and dialogue. The portable wireless speakers can be transported to performances and enable the Yulee Steppers to participate in more events at other Nassau County schools and within the community. This will create more exposure and encourage other students at other schools in Nassau County to develop their own step teams. The wireless speakers will also be used for outside performances, competitions, parades, basketball games, and community events. 

Benefits to my students

The students will benefit by having more control over the electronics and starting and stopping of the music and performance. With this exposure, our step team will attract other students. The students will have more confidence in their performances and be able to have more outside performances.  

Budget Narrative

1. The JBL Wireless Speaker with mic bundle is portable and has the best sound and volume for large crowds.
2. The wireless microphone case is to protect the microphones from damages during transport.
3. The JBL battery is a backup in case the other one runs out during an all day practice and performance.
