Goal

With students being more and more immersed in technology, it seems time to graduate the marching band to the use of technology when setting our show on the field. The software will allow students to see music and their positions on the field on their phone, make notes, share ideas in real time, and perform with.  

What will be done with my students

Students will have access to a suite of apps that will allow them to read music on their phones, see positions on the field on the phone, and have access to educational videos from marching arts experts on their phones! They will be able to access these videos for remediation if they are struggling with a concept, or could find advanced videos if they would like to take their skills to the next level.  

Benefits to my students

Students are used to using technology, they will be more likely to engage in the learning process when technology is also used, as opposed to paper and pencil. Students will be less likely to "forget/lose" their music/dot sheets, as how many teenagers go to school without their phones these days. Students will be able to see the relationship from their position on the field to the music, and to other students with a few simple clicks, making real time adjustments and ownership by students better!

The bundle gives access to three individual apps as mentioned above. Each "seat" costs $28, we project to have 60-70 students, ideally we would like to ask for $1960 to cover potentially 70 seats. However, any amount will help offset the total cost. If you were able to provide $1176 for 42 seats our booster organization would fund the remaining $784.

There is no shipping cost as it is all electronic access with a code that would be given to students.
