Goal

The goal of this project is to fund an educational piece of software which enables high school students with special needs who are unable to receive instruction in their brick and motor school site due to medical conditions and/or hospitalization.

What will be done with my students

This software enables instruction to be delivered following both school district standards and state educational standards in an easier manner on laptops or tablets. Curriculum, already in place, drives the content but in a more appropriate and concise manner for students with special needs who are also battling medical conditions.

Benefits to my students

Students will receive more fulfilled instruction in an exciting format during times when instruction will be challenging due to hospitalization or illness. Students will be energized by the graphical presentation of subject matter usually presented in books and worksheets.

Budget Narrative

The cost includes a license for one service provider (Hospital Homebound Program).
