Goal

Color ink is a necessity in CTE( career and Technology Education) classrooms. Having color print outs for students to use is a game changer. My goal is to utilize the ECO Tank Epson printer to be more environmentally friendly and reduce classroom costs.

What will be done with my students

Providing color print outs, assignments and images are vital to engage students throughout the curriculum. The printer will be utilized throughout all of my courses which include entrepreneurship, Automation and Robotics and Medical Detectives. My course will benefit throughout the school year as we navigate through the curriculum and learn about creating products, how to build mechanisms and applying coding and looking at case files to diagnose patients.

Benefits to my students

This will benefit my students in multiple ways. First, students are vastly more engaged in material when it is printed in color vs black and white. It will give my students in entrepreneurship a way to create custom flyers, logos and more for their products. Second, my students in Automation and Robotics will be able to clearly see diagrams and images of mechanism build and coding applications. Lastly, my medical detective students will be able to have color print outs of images and case files as they learn about disease agents, the brain and nervous. This will benefit all 188 students in my classes for the entire school year.
