Goal

The goal for this project is to provide my students with brand new and quality drums to use in our class.  

What will be done with my students

These instruments will be used almost daily in our music class. These drums have the ability to perform accompaniments to songs, perform in different ensembles with different parts, explore musical expression, and explores rhythms. Hand drums are one of the first instruments the students start on when they get to elementary school that will follow them continuously until they go to middle school.  

Benefits to my students

Each hand drum set will come with 5 drums of different sizes that provide different pitches. The students will be able to explore all sizes these drums come in, compare and contrast the sounds, and begin learning how to work with one another.  

Budget Narrative

Each drum set contains 5 drums and a bag that will hold the set. With purchasing 6 of these, I will be able to have a class set of drums for my classes of different sizes.
