Goal

We would like to be able to purchase craft items, dress up clothes, and manipulatives for our classroom that meet the needs of all of the children in the classroom.

What will be done with my students

We will use the items to engage children in learning through play and activities that centered around each child's individual needs.

Benefits to my students

This is a blended classroom that has children of all different abilities in it. We know that children at this age learn best through play. Children can build upon their social skills and learn to interact with one another and build upon social skills through dress-up. The children can build their fine motor skills while also working on math/science while using manipulatives.

Describe the Students

This is a blended classroom. We have two students on IEP's one of which is in a wheel chair. The classroom also has general education students who range from the high end to the low end performance wise.
