Goal

Bardmoor Elementary School is looking to host a team of 15 girls during the 10 week after-school program. As a Title 1 school site, the cost per girl to participate in the program is $35.00, totaling $525.00 for the season. This includes program registration fees, program materials, 5K costs, healthy snacks during practice, and much more!

What will be done with my students

Girls on the Run has fun, evidence-based programs that inspire all girls to build their confidence, kindness, and decision-making skills. Dynamic lessons instill valuable life skills including the important connection between physical and emotional health.

Benefits to my students

Students who participate in Girls on the Run will have an awesome experience learning different Social-Emotional lessons, along with getting exercise with one another. This program benefits students in more ways than just academic as it builds lifelong friendships, and memories.

Describe the Students

Bardmoor Elementary is a Title 1 school. All students receive free breakfast and lunch daily. There are 445 students: 30% of the students are ESE and 40% are ESOL students. We were a C school this year but are hopeful to bring that up to a B this year.
