Goal

My goal is to have a comfortable space where students can sit as a group while we do our lesson.

What will be done with my students

While I am introducing the lesson to each of my classes, I like to have them all come sit with me at the front of the room. The classrooms have linoleum floors and currently the students are sitting on the bare floor.

Benefits to my students

By adding a rug to the front of the room, students have a more comfortable place to sit. Having a rug also gives a defined area so students know exactly where I would like them to be during the lesson. This is particularly helpful for the younger students.
