Goal

The goal of this request is to provide funding for the FBLA club here at PPMS to send members to the state and national competitions at the end of the year. This club teaches students very useful tips to help them become well rounded individuals in the business world and in their academic/post academic careers.

What will be done with my students

This grant will help fund the opportunity for eligible students to travel to state competitions and possibly national competitions. The students will compete in various events at the district level for the opportunity to qualify for states and nationals. Once they're qualified, parents have to pay for students hotel rooms, transportation, and security fees. Last year, a few students were qualified for state competitions but were unable to go due to financial constraints.

Benefits to my students

This grant will pay for students' transportation, hotel expenses, and security fees for the state competition and national competition. This grant will benefit any student that will qualify at the district competitions in March.

Describe the Students

FBLA consists of students who want to grow and groom themselves to be more knowledgeable in the business area. FBLA students tend to be a mixture of students, from ESE to high performing students. The club is open to any interested individual.
