Goal

We need three Plickers Pro Accounts so teachers can share "question packs" with each other. This will help alleviate some of the pressure and stress teachers feel with preparing daily lessons and review questions, because Plickers Pro accounts will allow them to share their class' questions with each other.

What will be done with my students

Plickers is an enaging way for students to interact with science questions and practice skill review, using an online program. Teachers can use multimedia devices to scan students' QR codes to answer questions. Students see the data in real time and love this way of reviewing their ideas and revising their thinking with the class.

Benefits to my students

Students get to use multimedia to review daily science concepts in a fun and engaging way, while also sharing ideas and revising their thinking. They can see class data and discuss problem-solving strategies. Plickers Pro accounts allow students to also use questions to review for tests, which enhances their study skills.

Describe the Students

Our school is Title 1 and our student population consists of high numbers of ESOL and ESE students, along with students in the Reading Recovery program.

Budget Narrative

Each Plickers Pro accounts cost $71.88. Three Plickers Pro accounts will cost $215.64. This will provide an account for each of our 5th grade science teachers and science coach.
