Goal

The goal is to have a clock in system for my students to be able to clock in when they get to class and to clock out when they leave. They will also clock out when they use the bathroom or choose not to participate in their labs and help their group. This will show students how the real world works and how a real job is like. I come from the food industry where I trained and would higher and fire people of ages 16 +. Lots of people believe they just go to work and do nothing they get paid, because in school they are given ample opportunity and a grade even when they have done nothing. Setting students up with real world application and expectations of what work ethic they should have in this ever changing world.  

What will be done with my students

My students will be entered into a system of payroll with their clock in system and i will have a reward/ point system set up for them to use for buying a lab day for example.

Benefits to my students

My students will learn real worlds applications and my 8th graders will run the pay roll system and check off everyday. Students will understand what its like to go to work and show up and work hard not just show up and do nothing. It will help students confidence and moral in class and help groups work better together.
