Goal

To fund school hosted events. Through the year we host business partners, guests who provide information to our students on post high school college and career opportunities, Great American Teach In, volunteers, mentors, Capstone Night, Elevating Excellence, and technical program demonstrations.

What will be done with my students

Leadership opportunities will be offered to our students to greet our guests and escort them around campus. Students will also assist me in planning, set up, and preparation of hospitality for our guests. All events will take place throughout the entire school year. All students, both those in leadership positions and those participating in the programming will be exposed to new opportunities and information.

Benefits to my students

All students will be able to interact with colleges, schools, employers, apprenticeships, and community members who will offer them knowledge and information they may not otherwise have access to. Students will be exposed to opportunities to advance their potential while in high school as well as plan for life after graduation.

Describe the Students

As the College and Career Coordinator, I touch every student in our school. I work with them individually on their interests and plans. I will provide resources and information based on each student's inquiries.

Budget Narrative

I will purchase drinks and snacks for our GATI guests and assemble in gift bags. I will purchase mugs to give to our mentors in January. I will purchase refreshment trays for large gathering events such as Elevating Excellence Evening.
