Goal

My goal is to give my students the hand on experience of what a farm is like.

What will be done with my students

In first grade we learn about plants and animals. Taking a field trip to Farmer Mike's will bring learning to real life for our first grade students. Students will enjoy a hayride out to strawberry fields and will each get to pick a bucket of strawberries to take home and enjoy with their families.

Benefits to my students

Students will learn about the job of a farmer, how to pick good produce, and what plants need to survive all through a life changing hands on experience.
