Goal

The goal of the request for a two-year subscription renewal (for the teacher and students) to Reflex Math is to provide my students for the next two school years with an effective system for mastering facts in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.  

What will be done with my students

Reflex Math is an adaptive and individualized Math fact fluency program that helps all students succeed and is a solution that works for all students. This program starts wherever each student's fact fluency level may be and uses interactive, engaging online games to quickly gain Math fact fluency in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in numbers 0-12. Each student would get their own account and be able to log in and use individually on their laptop daily. It would be used as a part of morning work and during Math center rotations.

My planned timeline for implementation is August 2023 - May 2025 (per the 2-year renewal subscription). This program aligns with the standards of student fact fluency mastery in 2nd grade.

On the teacher's side of this, I am able to see reports, data and information to guide me in their fact fluency to help monitor progress and celebrate success with printable awards and classroom incentives. Parents are also able to be a part of this by signing up and receiving detailed emails about their child's work and progress in real time.

I was able to use this resource last school year for the first time through a one-time free grant trial given to me by Reflex Math. My students absolutely loved this program, the parents were very impressed with the informative data and the results of my student's success was mind blowing! 

Benefits to my students

Students for the next two school years will master their fact fluency in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in numbers 0-12. The students will use this resource to become fluent, confident, engaged, positively competitive and successful as they continue to thrive in their education.

Providing my students for the next two school years with the ability to master their math fact fluency is my ultimate goal.  

Budget Narrative

1 teacher license which allows for two-year access to the Reflex Math program is $70 per student and has a limit of a 10-seat purchase.

$70.00 x 24 students for 2 years = $1680.00

This total price allows the following:

~ anytime, anywhere access
~ classroom-level user management and reporting
