Goal
Click, Clack! This is the sound of my entire class opening and closing their binders. In an attempt to reclaim the balance between analog and digital learning, I will require my 5th grade students to maintain a binder this second semester.
What will be done with my students
The binders will compel students to become more deliberate in the organization and presentation of their notes thus increasing success for middle and high school and increasing their ability to retain previously taught lessons. Additionally, I will be able to teach AVID level note taking skills.
Benefits to my students
Ensure materials will be organized and use as a reference for English Language Arts lessons. Also, teach them lifelong skills that will help them process and transcribe data efficiently.
