Goal

The goal of this project is to provide a year long math station for 2nd grade students to maintain their previously learned, and current content, in a fun and engaging, self-checking station.  

What will be done with my students

This project will benefit each and every one of my 2nd graders year around. We use math stations daily in our class and are constantly looking for ways to keep the engagement high. These VersaTiles will help my students practice both current and previous skills, while also being able to self check their answers. This will allow me to simultaneously pull small groups while another group is working with the VersaTiles.  

Benefits to my students

With the addition of VersaTiles to our daily math rotations, I expect to see an improvement of previously taught standards on their assessments throughout the year. By adding in an engaging way for my students to maintain previous learning, students will show growth with each assessment we take. Not only will my current 2nd graders benefit from this amazing resource, but any and all future 2nd graders here at Heritage will as well. This resource is a reusable product and will benefit Heritage's 2nd graders for many years to come!
