Goal
This project will increase the ability for students to have a visual learning experience in the classroom.
What will be done with my students
Our current classroom projectors are not fully compatible with the new district Surface laptops. Therefore, my students are unable to have the full experience of the different engaging possibilities as I teach. By having a projector that is fully compatible with my district laptop, I will be able to utilize tools such as my graphic tablet to work real time with students as a whole class or in small groups. I will be able to use engaging apps and websites to deepen students' experiences with the material. So many students are virtual learners that having a projector that works fully with my laptop will allow a broader spectrum of instruction. This project will allow students to connect more deeply with content and improve their achievement.
Benefits to my students
Students will be able to take more comprehensive notes.
Students will be able to have deeper classroom discussions.
Student grades will improve as a result of more visual learning.
More online resources will be used.
