Goal

Our school is currently working on a relaunch of our PBIS (positive behavior support system). A team of teachers went to a training, to discover new ways to impact our current system. We would like to purchase a program that would make our PBIS system more transparent for parents, students, and staff. 

What will be done with my students

Our school would like to purchase a PBIS behavior outcome system to help with rewarding our students. All students will carry a lanyard with a personal barcode on it. When someone at school sees a student following our "SHARK" rules, they can reward them by using the app to scan their barcode and give points. Our PTA currently has a Shark Shop that students can shop in monthly, and our students can use their points to participate in grade level monthly activities and quarterly with our whole school.  

Benefits to my students

Our hope is that students will choose to model their best behavior, in order to receive a reward. By purchasing this app, parents can view their students progress. This would help the students by knowing that parents care about their behavior, even when they aren't around. It will also help provide easier access to reward students. The only thing the staff member would need is there phone. We know the whole school benefits when students follow our PBIS system. 

Budget Narrative

The app is the only thing we would need funding for. We are currently already rewarding students, we would just like to make it easier for all stakeholders to have buy in.
