Goal
To create practical storage for our brand new collaborative project classroom.
What will be done with my students
We have sought to create a collaborative art classroom in addition to our art room. This room goes to serve as a spot where students can donate and retrieve repurposed materials to create a plethora of different innovative and creative projects with no cost to them. The room will be a place where teachers can take their class and let them collaborate in making different things; anywhere from book projects to collaborative beautification projects. The room lacks functional storage pieces and tables for students to work on.
Benefits to my students
With additional storage we are able to create an area to safely and effectively store bigger items that students may not need immediate access to. With this additional storage we will be able to make the space safe and functional for all who use it.
Budget Narrative
Classroom storage: wall cabinets (x2) Cubby storage for small materials and paper and a cart used to gather materials and bring them to a workstation.
