Goal

Our goal is provide interactive, multisensory learning opportunities for our self-contained Exceptional Education students in our ACCESS classrooms.  

What will be done with my students

The Unique Learning Systems is a supplemental on-line curriculum resource that will engage our students with their specific learning needs based on the IEPs. It is digital and interactive, encompassing cross-curricular components that are extremely beneficial for our ESE ACCESS students. ULS will allow teachers to deliver differentiated, standards‑aligned content within a highly-motivating, interactive learning environment. 

Benefits to my students

Students will be develop content-based vocabulary, comprehension and independence skills using various components of the curriculum resources provided by ULS. Students will have customized, personalized instruction tailored to their individual needs and IEP goals: academic (being content-related), and socio-emotional (interactive and hands-on, developing independence at age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate levels) for our ACCESS students. The potential growth for our students can be measured by their learning and by their smiles! THANK YOU! 

Budget Narrative

Cost would be for 3 annual subscriptions. Each annual subscription can be used by 1 classroom teacher for up to 15 students. At Stowers, 3 subscriptions will allow each student in our ACCESS classes to have an individualized learning plan using ULS as a curriculum supplement.
