Goal
To acquire 10 new vlogging digital cameras for our yearbook/morning show to document our school campus.
What will be done with my students
We are a Title I school of 850 students. Our yearbook/morning show class this year is standing at over 30 students and we are a no phone campus. In order for our yearbook students to document student life for both the morning show and the yearbook they need to be able to take pictures. I only have about 8 older canon powershots which is not enough for our students to rotate through every other week. This would allow our students to have cameras for at least half the month in order to create yearbook and morning show content for the entire school.
Benefits to my students
Students will use cameras to document student life, learn vlogging and video editing, and produce our best Yearbook ever! They will also use the cameras to put out a monthly newsletter keeping our parents and community informed about the great happenings at Mann!!!
