Goal
The goal of this project is to acquire much needed new technology for our school morning show.
What will be done with my students
Each year a talented group of fourth grade students is selected to be a part of the Schwarzkopf Morning Show Crew. While we have strived to keep our technology up-to-date, we are in need of new cameras and equipment. Our students currently film the show with outdated camcorders, broken tripods and unreliable microphones. This new technology will allow our crew to improve both the audio and video quality of their morning show. Students will be able to produce commercials, record interviews, highlight student achievements, and share important school information with all of our teachers and students on a daily basis.
Benefits to my students
Funding of this project will provide Schwarzkopf's Morning Show Crew with the opportunity to expand their television production skills and become more creative with their special features. This will also increase student engagement school-wide during our daily broadcast.
Budget Narrative
The cost of this project will be funding the purchase of 3 ipads with cases and tripods, HDMI cables and adaptors. These items will be used to record the morning show and other special features. In addition, we will purchase headphones to monitor the audio and a camera rig case with lighting so that student can film "on location."
