Goal
This year I will be teaching two Start up tech students with 30 to 35 students in each class. I teach at a title I school and most of my students will not have the funds to attend the competition. My goal this year is to have all students enrolled in the Entrepreneurial Start up Tech Class to compete and attended the District-wide competition.
What will be done with my students
Having a chance to go and compete will give them a sense of accomplishment, they will have an opportunity to mingle with their peers and also gain insight from talking and learning from businessmen and women who volunteer to judge and teach our students. The competition is done Shark Tank Style and the students use the skills learned in the classroom to present and show the Apps they have created.
Benefits to my students
Not all students will be able to compete but I would like to take all of them on the field trip to experience the competition
