Goal

To dress students in the proper attire (official dress) for local and state competitions. To establish a new FFA chapter in a title 1 school with the nationally required attire by FFA standards for competition.

What will be done with my students

Our goal is to dress each elected officer in the proper FFA attire. The attire will also be worn by members who will act as ambassadors, role models, and mentors for future FFA members. Citrus Ridge, being a civics academy, encourages the FFA to be involved in public service, community involvement and volunteer activities.

Benefits to my students

This jacket entitles the students to be able to participate in local and state competitions. Without the jacket, the students will be penalized in all competitions and it could hinder their success in further competition levels. The blue jacket has always been a symbol of leadership, personal growth, and success. The FFA is and always will be "forever blue".

Budget Narrative

The official dress of the FFA requires a corduroy blue jacket and a tie and or a scarf. A non-tailored jacket cost $50 each. Nine jackets will allow each officer to dress for competitions as well as the chapter banquet and other FFA activities.
