Goal

The goal is to provide each student with a set of headphones a set of headphones to use in the technology lab (40 headphones total).  

 

What will be done with my students

About 90% of our learning in the lab is done with student laptops. This will include many concepts such as word processing, coding, and the use of virtual communication platforms. Much of this involves videos and auditory cues. At this moment students must either use very, very, low volume or try to listen over other student devices. This makes it difficult for students to really capture 100% of instruction. Students will be able to use these easy to use and comfortable headphones with their school provided laptops and classroom I-pads.  

 

Benefits to my students

Durable and easy to use headphones are becoming increasingly important in todays technology-based learning environments. The headphone swill help to enhance learning, focus, and experiences where having clear intelligible sound is necessary. These headphones will allow learners of all type to work in the same environment without having overlapping sounds from other students and their computers. 

 

Budget Narrative

The budget includes 4 sets of headphones (10 included in each set) There are no shipping costs as these will be purchased from Amazon.
