Goal
Dr. Keyes and I would like to start a business with our Modified Curriculum 3 students. The business would be a vehicle to teach math, reading, social skills and independent functioning skills.
What will be done with my students
Students will design a menu, take orders, shop (in class) for food, maintain books and prepare and deliver ordered food to staff members at NNMS.
Benefits to my students
Students will practice math, reading, social and independent functioning skills as a group while running our classroom "business".
Budget Narrative
Our classroom is in the old home economics room so we have access to ovens/stoves but the pots/pans and utensils are not in good enough condition to begin our business.
