Investor
Thank you to the following investor for funding this grant.
Nassau Education Foundation - $359.44
Goal
To provide differentiated reading materials and texts to my ESE students different and unique to their needs than the general education teacher.
What will be done with my students
Students are taught in small group instruction based on the goals stated on their Individual Educational Plan (IEP). The materials purchased will help support my children, where they are, to help fill in the missing gaps. Since many of the kids are struggling readers, the amount of available materials is very limited.
Benefits to my students
The materials selected will meet the needs of individual children to help support and fill in the missing gaps. The materials also were selected to specifically meet the IEP goals, in a broad sense, that all the children have. The texts are 'low' level but not 'baby' for them, as they want to read like their peers but are struggling to do so.
Budget Narrative
Thank you so much for considering this grant to support the children.
