Goal
My goal is to help all fourth grade students become fluent with their multiplication facts. Students are supposed to have all facts memorized by the end of third grade in order to be prepared for 4th grade standards and curriculum. Every year a majority of our students come to 4th grade without having this skill mastered, and basic multiplication is the preface for many of the learning goals such as 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication and division.
What will be done with my students
Students will use the boards to practice their multiplication facts in their classroom. They are dry erase boards so they can be wiped down and used over and over many times. One side of the board has the equations listed with a solution and the other side has the equation listed with the solution missing. This gives students a chance to study (solely or in pairs) and then test themselves by flipping the board over.
Benefits to my students
Students will have a chance to master the foundational knowledge needed to achieve student achievement in fourth grade. This will help to alleviate frustration and help all students feel successful with the content.

Each multiplication dry erase board costs $3.99. They come ready to go so teachers can start using them immediately.
