Goal
Improve student scores on the Mathematics portion of the SAT
What will be done with my students
Voluntary SAT preparation sessions are held prior to both Fall and Spring SAT administrations. Students take practice SAT tests and work on individual SAT problems.
Benefits to my students
I currently have a small set of Math SAT preparation books. I allow students to use them during after school and weekend preparation sessions. Because of the limited number, I can only loan out a few books.
With an increased number of books, more students would be allowed to continue to prepare on their own at home. This is extremely beneficial to low income families that can't afford to purchase one on their own.
Budget Narrative
Preparation books are $18.95 each. Fewer books could be ordered to reduce cost if needed.
