Goal
To integrate the use of technology into the traditional math classroom.
What will be done with my students
Students will be able to use the tablets to complete assignments through QR codes, as well as compete with classmates on websites like Kahoot! or Quizidd. They can also work together in groups for brainstorming ideas through Padlet, a website that works as a virtual sticky note.
Benefits to my students
Through the use of technology, I can differentiate my instruction, as well as allow students to work collaboratively and share their ideas. It allows for a more student centered classroom, and an environment that relates more to the students and their lives outside of the classroom.
Budget Narrative
Each tablet costs $49.99 on Amazon.com. Each tablet would also need a case ($13.99) and a two year protection plan ($17.99). Total taxes and fees are estimated at $28.56
