Investor
Thank you to the following investor for funding this grant.
- $570.00
Goal
Students will analyze an engineering problem and then apply the engineering process to design & redesign a robot in order to perform a function efficiently. Students will work in brainstorming groups to research the problem, design a solution, test out their design and then redesign for optimal efficiency.
What will be done with my students
Students will work in groups of 2-3 with the EVA 3 robotics kit in order to design different structures. These designs will be applied to different problems and solutions. Students will have exposure to coding/programming the robot, building the structure and troubleshooting flaws.
Benefits to my students
This will allow students to understand the engineering process better through group work that allows them to voice their ideas and evaluate the pros and cons. Additionally, it helps them to understand STEM careers involving coding & programs and engineering.
