Investor
Thank you to the following investor for funding this grant.
Nassau Education Foundation - $636.00
Goal
Our students need STEM materials to build basic math, science, and engineering skills. We see in our students future architects and engineers who crave the tools to build and create the projects their minds hold. By receiving new STEM materials, our students will experience new centers that will allow for out-of-the-box thinking and exploration. Many of our students already have an interest in architecture and engineering. Our goal is to take these interests and increase them to the 21st Century skills they will be expected to have later in their academic careers.
What will be done with my students
The addition of these materials would allow our students to explore the world around them in an entirely different way while building vital skills.
Benefits to my students
We are firm believers in providing every student with a strong educational foundation early in life. Adding STEM materials to our classroom will provide our students with the opportunity for an even stronger early learning foundation to be laid.
Budget Narrative
These materials are from the 2016 elementary Lakeshore Learning Materials catalog.
