Goal
The goal of this grant is to sponsor our spelling word list program in order for students to succeed in comprehension and practice of spelling words each week. Students will benefit from participating in spelling quizzes and pretests online, and ultimately master their spelling words in an engaging and exciting manner online.
What will be done with my students
Students will be able to access www.spellingcity.com and have more options to choose from in practicing their spelling words. Students will gain valuable skills in comprehension of words, and prepare for their assessments through a student-centered approach to spelling with academic support from their teacher.
Benefits to my students
This complete spelling program will benefit students in practicing and mastering their spelling list each week, and prepare for their test item questions at the completion of each week.
Budget Narrative
The entirety of the $52.00 will be directly applied to the sponsorship of the spelling word list on www.spelling city.com, for Ms. Pacter's class at Shadowlawn Elementary School.
