Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 80

Multiple 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classess and students benefited in collaborating and engaging in math through the program Classkick.  Students in their clasroomms, as well as students recieving math intervention, were/are able to practice their math standards in a fun and safe way using their individual technology and the math assignments that I had created for them.  The grant money was also used to purchase color ink for math trackers, manipulatives, posters, certificates, etc. that helped students track their math progress and be proud of their progression throughout the year.

Original Grant Overview

Goal

As the Math Coach and Resource Teacher of Golden Terrace Elementary, my goal is to work with students across all grade levels from K through 5 to help them succeed academically, collaborate with their peers safely while finding and using their voice and expressing their learning using innovating apps and websites such as Classkick.

What will be done with my students

Since I will be working with all grade levels at GTE, I would like to upgrade my current membership of Classkick Basic to Classkick Pro in order to continue to create and share engaging math and ELA assignments with all my students. Since our district is providing 1 to 1 devices for every child, this will allow students to safely collaborate and engage with their peers and teachers using appropriate district approved apps and websites. I also hope to print colorful Fastt Math lesson trackers for each student as well as create and print vibrant visual graphs where they can track their math growth and data.

Benefits to my students

Classkick makes remote learning exciting and creative.
Classkick offers a plethora of helpful tools, resources, manipulatives, audio clips, student recording options, etc.- all at the touch of your fingertips! I find the recording feature especially helpful for my lower leveled students as well as my English Learning students so that they have the option to not only read the directions I have given, but they can choose to listen to those directions as well. I also love that I can login and view my students' work in real time and communicate with them directly on their page from afar.

Budget Narrative

The Classkick Pro subscription for $96.00 could benefit over 200 students using engaging, safe technology. The color ink could provide vibrant, attention grabbing trackers and math graphs that show math gains and student achievement.
