Project Description

This project involves acquiring a Bambu Lab X1C 3D Printer for use in entrepreneurship classes. Students will engage in activities such as brainstorming product ideas, designing models using CAD software, printing prototypes, and refining their designs based on feedback. These activities will be integrated into a semester-long entrepreneurship curriculum that includes market research, branding, and pitching business ideas.

b) The project meets the needs of students by providing a modern tool for innovation and creativity. It supports the classroom by bridging the gap between theoretical business concepts and practical application. The school benefits by offering a cutting-edge learning experience that aligns with career and technical education goals.

Expected Outcomes

a) Students will develop stronger problem-solving and critical thinking skills, gain confidence in presenting and pitching ideas, and understand the iterative nature of product development. They will be able to create functional prototypes that support their business plans.

b) Outcomes will be measured through project rubrics, student reflections, prototype evaluations, and presentations. Success will be indicated by the completion of viable product prototypes and the ability to articulate business strategies during pitch sessions.

Purpose of Funding

The purpose of this funding request is to acquire a Bambu Lab X1C 3D Printer to support hands-on learning in our entrepreneurship program.
