Increase student participation in our college admissions presentations and career development activities on campus. By rewarding students with gift cards that can be used to buy necessities that a young person may need while they are pursuing their dream of attending college or working on their career development, we can generate more excitement on campus amongst students.
School-Wide, Grade-Level, Or Class Events/Programs - Parent Nights, Honor Roll Celebrations, EOY Events, PBIS, LIM, etc.
For seniors, when college admissions officers come our school to speak to students, we often lack engagement from students that are afraid to speak up and ask questions. I am hoping that by incentivizing students to engage, we can help our student break out of that shell.
We have an FSW Instant Decision Day coming up, and our goal is to have over 300 seniors accepted at this event.
Many of our students are the first in their families to attend college and thus need to buy essentials for their dorm or additional school supplies to help them navigate the challenges of being a first generation college student.
I would like to have 20 ($20) amazon gift cards to give to students during our school wide initiatives for college and career development.
