Seacrest Country Day School believes in the education of the whole child and seeks to structure the school day to optimize academic, social-emotional, and physical learning. Physical Education classes provide students with opportunities to build and balance these learning domains. This grant requests funds to purchase a Traverse Wall and Safety Mat to practice motor skill development for our youngest Seacrest Lower School students and will utilized during their P.E. classes.

Project Description

The equipment will be used by Seacrest Lower School students during their P.E. classes.

Expected Outcomes

Seacrest Lower School students will learn and practice gross and fine motor development skills, enhance hand-eye coordination, problem-solve, and participate in collaborative team-building experiences during their P.E. classes.

Purpose of Funding

Items will be purchased by Seacrest through Today's Classroom online via purchase order utilizing grant funds. The items will be tax-exempt.
