Project Description

This project aims to enhance the effectiveness of our school-wide PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program by providing necessary tools to create high quality, engaging, and durable behavioral support materials. With the proper resources, we will be able to produce customized materials that are essential for reinforcing positive behaviors and building a strong school culture. Planned activities include: designing and printing colorful PBIS posters and visuals to display expectations in hallways, producing certificates for character trait recognition during student of the month celebrations, creating and laminating individualized behavior charts, student incentives (Gator Leader cards and positive referrals).

Expected Outcomes

Visually engaging materials help students better understand and internalize behavior expectations. Laminated visuals are more durable and accessible which ensures consistency and equity in PBIS messaging. Recognizing positive behavior through personalized, attractive certificates or incentives boosts student motivation, belonging, and self-esteem. This project supports the broader PBIS goals of creating a safe, respectful, and positive school climate. By standardizing the appearance and quality of PBIS materials across the building, the program will feel more cohesive and professional, making clear expectations for students and staff.

*Increased student engagement in PBIS activities
*Improved positive behavior across the school
*Enhanced consistency in behavioral expectations
*Greater recognition of student achievement
*Strong school climate and culture
