Our 7-habits Lighthouse school is providing clubs for all students to participate in each month. I host a STEAM club for about 40 students each session. I would like provide an abundance of steam materials so their scientific, reasoning and math thinking can grow. This will include about 50 pieces per student. These materials will give the students the opportunity to create, problem-solve, and use their imaginations. This will begin to create the collection that will be used for years to come
Learning Aids - Sunshine state book sets, robotics kits, puzzle boards, science models, engineering supplies, etc.
Students in the club will be able to participate in STEAM lessons of creating, designing, and testing ideas. They will be able to save their designs and add to them as well during club time .Students will be able to share these STEAM materials. They will also be able to use them for language arts lessons like making letters of the alphabet, math lessons of counting, adding and subtracting, science, art, and other creative uses
Learning with building materials helps stretch children’s imaginations and inspires them to create! It engages a student's natural curiosity, teaching them without them even realizing it. As they pick them up and figure out how to use them, they use all their senses. Building materials also introduce kids to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) in a way they can easily relate to and enjoy. Engaging all levels of learners will let them excel at many Florida State curriculum standards. It will also result in the students retaining what they learn and being eager to learn more, setting them up for a lifetime of knowledge while allowing creativity to blossom.
These materials can be used with schoolwide clubs and grade level classes for years to come. Shipping is included in Amazon's price.
