My goal is to provide sensory prizes and desk pets to motivate good behavior and to be earned when they show star patriot leader in me expectations.
School-Wide, Grade-Level, Or Class Events/Programs - Parent Nights, Honor Roll Celebrations, EOY Events, PBIS, LIM, etc.
I have a class system where students can earn success squares for showing leadership. I award squares for seven habit patriot expectations and they self-monitor and keep track on a chart. When they complete their chart of 15 squares they can choose a prize. When they achieve learning goals they get to choose a desk pet (animal eraser)
These students were born in 2020. This class needs additional support in making good choices and focusing on learning. We all do well when we are working towards a goal. Sensory prizes and desk pets are highly motivating and will help students who struggle to control their behavior and self-regulate work toward improvement. Prizes are awarded as soon as they reach their goal, which helps all children be successful.
These prizes will motivate students.
