One of the main goals of asking for a laser printer is that my students have a very limited budget to create their products and we are dependent on the items sold on Amazon. With the increase in cost, the questionable quality of items we have ordered in the past, and the time frame of getting our items, it is more financially beneficial if we are able to cut out our own custom blanks.
Electronics - Headphones, charging cables, computer mice, etc.
Entrepreneur students (with the presense/guidance of an adult) will learn how to use the laser cutter to create the blank items they will need to build their products to sell at their Winter Marketplace and all other community venues we participate in.
Students will understand that creating your own custom blanks is a more economical strategy than buying online.
Students will survey all twenty-one(21) entrepreneur groups to see if blanks are needed.
Students will build a prototype of each blank item and will discuss modifications/customization with each entrepreneur group that requires blanks.
Students will create the amount of blanks needed for each entrepreneur group.

All funds will go towards funding the Glowforge Aura and accessories. This will ensure we have all materials to learn and make a successful laser printing business.
