Category

School-Wide, Grade-Level, Or Class Events/Programs - Parent Nights, Honor Roll Celebrations, EOY Events, PBIS, LIM, etc.

Project Description

Students will work with classmates to complete different science and STEM projects. They will be learning different science topics such as energy, gravity, scientific method, water cycle, plant life, and more.

Expected Outcomes

Students will improve their social skills by working in groups and with partners while completing experiments and different stem projects. Students will grow a love for science through hands on assignments. I will measure these outcomes by observing participation and pre and post assessments to see growth in their scientific knowledge.

Purpose of Funding

These grant funds will be used through different hands on science and stem projects throughout the year. Baking with special needs students is a great way to practice different life skills through learning about physical and chemical changes. Doing group and partner STEM projects gets students involved and increase participation when the activity is hands on and active learning.
