To increase engagement and participation in physical activity. Expand opportunities for movement, teamwork, and success in Physical Education. Reward students for positive behaviors and efforts.

Promotes Physical Activity - The fast-paced nature of the game encourages movement, improving cardiovascular health, coordination, and reaction time.

Develops Social-Emotional Skills -Fosters teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution as players work together and strategize.

Inclusive and Accessible - The game can be adjusted to different heights and is designed to be easy to learn, allowing students of all skill levels to participate and have fun.

Enhances Hand-Eye Coordination and Agility - Players need to react quickly and accurately to the ball, improving their hand-eye coordination and agility.

Easy to Set Up and Adapt - The game is relatively simple to assemble and can be played in various settings, both indoors and outdoors.

Project Description

9 Square in the Air is an activity in itself that will enhance our PE classes. Making physical activity appealing to ALL students is becoming more and more challenging. It's important to show students of all abilities that movement is fun and doesn't always look like typical "sports."

The addition of the Activity Pack would allow us to provide movement and skill opportunities to more students, especially in our large classes. And the Neon Game can be incorporated into our Glow Sports equipment for rewards, celebrations, and special class activities.  

 

Expected Outcomes

Increasing the opportunities for movement in class and the exposure to different types of game/activities can help develop a love of physical movement.
The connection of fun and movement can change not only a child's life, but also their family and friends' lives.

We can instantly see if our outcomes are met through active participation, decrease in behavior concerns, sense of community/team, and overall enthusiasm for activity.
