Project Description

We are requesting funding to purchase essential kitchen small-wares to support hands-on instruction and skill development. With increasing enrollment and aging equipment, our current inventory is insufficient to meet the needs of our students and curriculum.

All equipment will be inventoried, maintained, and stored securely. Students will be trained in proper use and care to ensure longevity and responsible handling of all items.

Expected Outcomes

The success of students resulting from the funding of this grant will be measured through several key metrics:
- Increased student engagement in hands-on culinary activities and classroom participation.
- Improved performance in practical skill assessments and culinary evaluations.
- Higher retention rates across the four-year Culinary Arts Program.
- Successful transitions of students into post-secondary culinary programs or direct employment in the culinary and hospitality industries.
These indicators will help evaluate the effectiveness of the new equipment and its impact on student learning outcomes and career readiness.
