Goal(s)

For my ESE students, learning comes alive when they can work with their hands and see the results of their efforts. With this resource, we can make learning more interactive, meaningful, and fun.

Category

School supplies - Markers, paints, paper, crayons, clay, pencils, sharpies, modeling dough, etc.

Project Description

The Cricut will not only help me create individualized supports for their unique needs but also empower the to produce professional-quality projects they can be proud of. We will be able to design and create personalized projects like cards, posters and T-shirts to showcase their ideas and achievements

Expected Outcomes

This tool can also open doors to conversations about design, technology, and even possible career paths in the creative arts or business. It will help build fine motor skills while working with materials. The students will be able to participate in vocational-style activities by making products they can sell at school events, giving them hands on experience with entrepreneurship.

Purpose of Funding

This grant will allow us to purchase these supplies and implement creative project base learning activities that meet students where they are and prepare the for greater independence and post secondary success.
