Goal(s)

The purpose of our outdoor game club is to help the kids be active while learning family games and outdoor activities. Providing opportunites to learn games that do not involve screen time. Grades 3-5 are combined for the clubs so there is also a leadership role for the older students to mentor the younger ones.

Project Description

Manatee Elementary has free monthly clubs for our students grades 3-5 one Friday a month during the last hour of school.

Expected Outcomes

Our monthly cross gradel level clubs allow our students to join a club without putting any financial or transportation stress on the families. ALL students get to experience being in a club of their choice!

Purpose of Funding

These will be continued to be used year after year so there is a long lasting effect of this grant purchase.
