Goal(s)

The goal for this project is to give access to teachers and students to highly sought after books, Sunshine State Young Reader Junior Chapter Books and Novels.

Project Description

The budget includes 3 copies of each Sunshine State Young Reader Junior Chapter Books and Novels. One copy of each will be given to each grade level team, third through fifth grade, allowing for easier access to the popular books that will help students meet their end of year reading goals. Having copies in teacher's classrooms will also allow access to teachers so that they can read books to help make connections with students through these popular books.

Expected Outcomes

With students having easier access to books in their classrooms it will be easier for students to meet their end of year goal of reading 10 Sunshine State Young Reader books. I will measure this outcome by the number of students who attend the end of year celebration for meeting their goal.

Purpose of Funding

The funds from the grant will be used to purchase 3 copies of each Sunshine State Young Reader Junior Chapter books and Novels.
